Why Book Through eCarBookers

Why Book Through eCarBookers platform

Booking a hire car means trusting two things at once — the platform you book through, and the supplier you collect from. eCarBookers is built to make both worth trusting: low prices from a wide network of suppliers, nothing charged until you arrive, and every cost shown before you confirm.

What Every Booking Includes

  • Low prices, compared across suppliers: Every listing shows the vehicle class, the supplier, and the full price — including the standard excess — before you book.
  • Pay on arrival, not at booking: Most platforms charge you in full when you book. eCarBookers does not. You pay the balance directly at the desk when you collect the car.
  • Transparency on cover: The basic rate includes the supplier's standard CDW, which carries an excess — the exact amount is shown before you confirm. If you'd rather drive with no excess at all, fully comprehensive zero-excess cover is available directly from your supplier on collection, provided by the hire company itself, never a third-party insurer.
  • A verified supplier behind every booking: Every supplier on the platform is reviewed before being listed, so you know who you're collecting from and where.

Already Trust a Local Supplier? Book Them Through Us Anyway

If a local supplier is already on the eCarBookers platform, booking through us doesn't change your relationship with them — you get the same team, the same fleet, the same service. What it adds is a price locked in before you arrive, and someone to call if the desk doesn't match what was confirmed at booking.

Local Operators and International Brands, Held to the Same Standard

eCarBookers works with both local specialists and established international brands, and never positions one against the other. The standard applied to a booking — price shown upfront, excess disclosed before you confirm, balance paid on arrival — doesn't change based on the size of the supplier. Every customer eCarBookers sends a local operator is one that operator wouldn't have reached alone; every booking through eCarBookers is one more customer arriving informed rather than negotiating at the counter.

What Standard CDW Doesn't Cover

Certain situations fall outside standard CDW cover across the car hire industry, and may result in a separate charge if they occur:

  • Tyre damage — punctures, blowouts, and sidewall damage
  • Glass damage — windscreen, windows, and mirrors
  • Underbody damage
  • Lost or damaged keys — including key fob replacement
  • Flat battery caused by driver error — such as leaving the lights on while the vehicle is unattended

These exclusions are standard across the industry, not specific to eCarBookers or its suppliers. Always check your booking confirmation for the exact terms of your hire.

How It Works

  • Search and compare: Enter your destination and dates to compare low prices from a wide supplier network.
  • Book online: Your booking confirmation locks in your price and vehicle class before you arrive — you pay nothing yet.
  • Collect from your supplier: Pay the balance at the desk. The excess shown at booking is the excess that applies, and fully comprehensive zero-excess cover is available there directly from the supplier if you want it.
  • Drive: The terms confirmed at booking are the terms you receive.

If Something Goes Wrong

If a charge at the desk doesn't match what was confirmed at booking, contact support@ecarbookers.com with your booking reference and a description of what happened. We investigate directly with the supplier. Photographing the vehicle at collection and return is the most effective protection if a charge is later disputed.
